Pho King Rapidos'food stall may have closed at Avanti Food & Beverage, but the beloved business is still cooking.
The latest: PKR, known for fusing Vietnamese flavors with New York street snacks and spicy Mexican fare, is popping up on Tuesdays β starting today β at MAKfam.
Why it matters: When PKR launched as a popular food truck in 2020, it served dishes that weren't feasible in its Avanti stall due to space and logistical constraints. This pop-up brings some of its classics back.
Catch up quick: PKR's Avanti stall closed on Jan. 21 due to a major remodeling of the food hall.
The fusion spot said it plans to reopen the brick-and-mortar, or another concept, somewhere in the city this year.
If you go: PKR's pop-up runs Tuesdays from 5-9pm through March 11.
The bottom line: As if you needed another excuse to visit the award-winning MAKfam β here it is.
