Ten Colorado media and tech companies are among the fastest-growing 500 in North America, per a new report.
Why it matters: These local companies had the highest revenue growth from 2020 to 2023, according to the 30th annual report from consulting firm Deloitte.
Driving the news: Colorado Springs-based Caliola Engineerin, a purveyor of military satellites and cybersecurity infrastructure, took the highest-ranking spot in the state at No. 102 with 1,178% growth.
- Pie Insurance, a small business insurance technology company in Denver, landed 117th on the list with 1008% growth.
The big picture: Some of the companies listed are returning to the list after significant year-over-year growth. But overall, the number of Colorado companies is down from the 14 listed a year ago.
What they're saying: "The strength of Colorado's startup community lies in its unwavering support and collaboration," said Alexie Tune, managing director at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Denver.
