This weekend in Denver, register to vote and party with Big Gigantic, attend one of the nation's largest brewing events, or grab a seat at the Avs' first home match of the season.
1. π΅ Big Gigantic
Party with Colorado-based EDM act Big Gigantic on Saturday during their free, one-night-only concert at Levitt Pavilion.
The fine print: Proof of your updated voter registration status will be required for entry, or you can register on-site.
- People who are not eligible to vote can also attend the show for free with alternative opportunities to get civically involved.
By the numbers: Only 22% of registered voters aged 18-34 participated in 2023's municipal election, and early voting numbers were low entering the primary election in June.
If you go: This is a nonpartisan event. Promotion of any political causes or candidates is prohibited.
When: Doors open Saturday at 5pm. Arrive early to make sure you get in.

2. πΊ Great American Beer Festival
- This three-day festival at the Colorado Convention Center will include cocktails, hard seltzers and other beverages, as well as lucha libre, mechanical bull riding and a sports viewing lounge. Tickets start at $85.
- When: Until 9:30 tonight, 5:30pm-9:30pm tomorrow, and 12:30pmβ4:30pm Saturday.
3. π€ David Spade
- The comedian and actor will perform two taped shows tomorrow night, at 7 and 9:30, at the Paramount Theatre. Tickets start at $40.
4. πΆ Charli XCX
- The two-time Grammy nominee will headline Ball Arena with Troye Sivan at 7:30 tomorrow night. Tickets start at $159.
5. π Avalanche home opener
- Nathan MacKinnon and the Avs will be back on home ice to take on the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7pm Saturday at Ball Arena. Tickets start at $63.
6. π½ Rocky Mountain Record Show
- Check out more than 150,000 vinyl records from 70 different vendors at Sports Castle starting at 10am Saturday and Sunday. Tickets.
- Cost: Tickets start at $10 Saturday and are free Sunday.
7. ποΈ Larimer Square BAZAAR
- Shop from more than 40 local craft vendors and makers at the final market of the season. Items include jewelry, clothes, home goods, art and food. Free.
- When: Noon-5pm Sunday.
8. ποΈ Spooky Cinema Series
- Catch a poolside screening of "Jeepers Creepers" at 8pm tomorrow at the Halcyon hotel's open-air theater. Tickets are $25.
