The median price for a one-bedroom unit in Golden grew by 3.8% to $1,900 last month, making it the costliest median apartment rent in the Denver metro area.
Zoom in: The city topped Boulder and Denver, who each came in at $1,810. Castle Rock ($1,770) and Broomfield ($1,720) rounded out the top five, according to data compiled by Zumper.
The costliest rent prices are far above the state median of $1,502 last month.
Between the lines: Golden had the second-highest month-to-month spike, surpassed only by Wheat Ridge, which had a 5.1% increase, with median monthly rent there reaching $1,430.
The big picture: While Greeley has the lowest median rent among metro cities at $1,150 this month, it's a 10.6% jump from January to February 2024.
