Weekend picks: Jazz, ribs and Hell is Real

What to expect: Three full days of tunes and barbecue on the Scioto Mile — it's one of Columbus' best festivals.

• It's not all the same type of jazz. Dozens of musicians from Central Ohio and beyond perform with a variety of sounds.
• Meanwhile, nearly 20 barbecue vendors bring award-winning competition ribs and other meats, along with some non-rib food offerings.

Plus: Attendance and music are free!

• You'll have to pay for your ribs, though.
