Ohio Village at the Ohio History Center is in the midst of a major overhaul.

Zoom in: Improvements include new utilities, restrooms and paved roads, plus major attractions like an art gallery, biergarten and bandstand.
- The upgrades will extend historic interpretations into the early 1900s.
Stop by: The village will temporarily reopen 10am-5pm Wednesday-Aug. 9 during the state fair, free with fair admission.
What's next: The three-year, $22 million project is expected to wrap up for a full reopening next year.
