Weekend picks: Festivals for folk music, tacos, wine

What's inside: Hosted at Bank Run Metro Park in Lockbourne, the Folk Festival is a celebration of the musical genre with "an invigorating mix of folk, roots, bluegrass, old-time, and progressive, eclectic blends."

• Expect folk jams, workshops, kids activities, food trucks and Nocterra craft beer.

The intrigue: For the festival's 29th season, it's shifted to ticketed admission to cover expanding size and costs.

• Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 on site, and cover both days.
• Kids under 18 are free.
