Fewer fans have attended Columbus Fury home matches this year compared to the past two seasons — and if you want to help pack the seats, this weekend is your last chance.
By the numbers: The team's sold-out debut match in 2024 remains its largest crowd ever, at 9,165, per data the team provided Axios.
The 2026 home opener was this season's biggest crowd, at 5,881.
Last year, the Fury ranked fourth in average attendance among eight teams.
State of play: The 5-21 Fury are in the final stretch of another challenging season, set to finish in last place for the second year in a row.
The team is under new ownership as it looks to 2027. Married entrepreneurs Andrea Mitchell and Andy Sandler bought it in March.
It's currently the only professional women's sports franchise in Ohio.
The good news: Sunday's opponent, the Atlanta Vibe, are Major League Volleyball's second-to-last-place team, so there's still a good chance the Fury could cap the season with a win.
