Stunning stat: Sunday tied for the third-snowiest day in Columbus history — and the snowiest January date ever — according to measurements the National Weather Service provided Axios.
- It was by far the snowiest Jan. 25 date ever, topping 4.7 inches recorded on Jan. 25, 1988.
The latest: Franklin County downgraded to a level 2 snow emergency at noon Monday and a cold weather advisory is in effect.
