Central Ohio's 2026 MLK Day observances

🔷 The Ohio History Connection's open house explores the impact of MLK's life and legacy with live performances, art activities and tours.

• 11am-4pm, Ohio History Center, 800 E. 17th Ave.

🔷 The City of Columbus' annual march and program theme is "one dream, many voices."

• The march kicks off at 3pm at St. Paul AME Church, 639 E. Long St.
• The program starts at 4:30pm at the Lincoln Theatre, 769 E. Long St.

🔷 Capital University's Day of Learning offers workshops and speakers.

• Events at various locations from 8am-6pm.

🔷 Otterbein University's annual observance is a convocation followed by a service day with tasks like packing food and making fleece blankets.

• 3pm convocation at 30 S. Grove St., Westerville; 5pm service event at 100 W. Home St.

🔷 The annual march in Linden includes a keynote speaker and trek across the neighborhood.

• 11am at North Columbus Preparatory Academy, 1965 Gladstone Ave.

🔷 Worthington's community celebration features students reading the "I Have a Dream" speech, musical performances and a keynote speech from a Worthington Schools alumnus.

• 11am, Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High St.

🔷 Ohio State's day of service provides volunteer opportunities for students.

• Registration begins at 9:30am at the Ohio Union, 1739 N. High St.
