The vibe: This "three-day festival of fandom" is one of Ohio's largest gatherings of enthusiasts, celebrating comics, sci-fi, fantasy, pop culture, anime, gaming and more.
- The weekend's event schedule includes tabletop gaming tournaments, cosplay competitions, karaoke and dancing.
The intrigue: Major GalaxyCon draws include the event's celebrity Q&As, panels, photo ops and autograph sessions.
- This year's convention features Rosario Dawson, Simon Pegg, Weird Al Yankovic, William Shatner, Cheech and Chong and dozens more.
- Plus: Comedian Ben Schwartz, who's also in town for his improv show Friday night.
