A Central Ohio farmers market for every day in the week

It's National Farmers Market Week, highlighting the farmers who grow our fresh favorites.

If beautiful summer weather has you craving local produce, here's a week's worth of Central Ohio markets where you can celebrate:

Monday: Prairie Township is a rare Monday afternoon market.

• 4-7pm through Aug. 18, 5955 West Broad St., Galloway.

Tuesday: Hilliard hosts its market from 4-7pm through Sept. 2 at 5445 Scioto Darby Road.

• Or try Lewis Center's Market on Orange, 4:30-7:30pm through Aug. 12 at 3467 E. Orange Road.

Wednesday: Upper Arlington's market is a collaboration between the city, nonprofit Common Greens and Littleton's Market from 3-6:30pm through Oct. 22 at 2151 Dorset Road.

• Across town, Franklin Park Conservatory hosts its own from 3:30-6:30pm through Sept. 10 at 1777 E. Broad St.

Thursday: Downtown, Pearl Market is on Pearl and Gay streets from 11am-2pm through Oct. 23.

• Bexley is on Main Street from 4-7pm through Oct. 23.
• Healthy New Albany has themed nights in Market Square from 4-7pm through Aug. 28.

Friday: The Canal Market District has Friday night to itself in downtown Newark.

• Its outdoor summer season runs from 4-7pm through October at 36 E. Canal St.

Saturday: The slate is packed, and you'll probably be able to find one close to home.

• Weekly Saturday markets include Canal Winchester, Clintonville, Dublin, German Village, Grove City, Little Grand, Westerville and Worthington.

Sunday: Grandview Heights is the only game in town.

• One of Central Ohio's newer markets, it runs 9am-noon through Oct. 12 at 1600 W. First Ave.
