Crew Review, Week 1: A wild, emphatic opener

On the field: The season opened with a wild 4-2 win at home Saturday over the Chicago Fire.

Off the field: The team recently extended goalkeeper Patrick Schulte's contract and signed a new sponsorship with Columbus-based Bread Financial.

State of play: Cucho Hernández and Christian Ramírez are gone, but Diego Rossi is still here.

• Reminder: The Uruguayan is a certified MLS star and the youngest Golden Boot winner in league history. In the opener, he scored two goals in an MLS game for the first time since last May.

The big picture: This Crew wasn't built on Cucho, it was built on Wilfried Nancy.
