The Columbus library's most-read books of 2024

Britney Spears' and Jennette Curdy's memoirs and a novel about friendship, love and video game design were among the titles checked out the most at the Columbus Metropolitan Library last year.

The top titles of 2024, according to data provided to Axios:

Adult fiction: "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow," Gabrielle Zevin (2,503).
Adult nonfiction: "The Woman in Me," Britney Spears (2,465).
Children's fiction: "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Diper Överlöde," Jeff Kinney (2,832).
Children's graphic novel: "Dog Man: Grime and Punishment," Dav Pilkey (2,697).
Adult fiction ebook: "The Women," Kristin Hannah (4,314).
Adult nonfiction ebook: "I'm Glad My Mom Died," Jennette McCurdy (1,711).
Adult audiobook: "Fourth Wing," Rebecca Yarros (4,699).
