BrewDog's eclipse-worthy beer cocktail

Here's a low effort, high reward — and, most importantly, super Instagrammable — way to toast the total eclipse.

The big picture: Dubbed the Total Eclipse of the Black Heart, this beer cocktail comes courtesy of BrewDog, which is serving it up at their Franklinton location's eclipse party Monday.

If you're not up for leaving the house, they're pretty easy to whip up at home.

What's inside: Pour 12 ounces of BrewDog's coffee cream ale, Mugshot, into a 16-ounce glass.

Then use a spoon to float four ounces of BrewDog's draught stout, Black Heart.

The vibe: "This drink gives off coffee, chocolate, roasty and creamy notes — perfect for watching the eclipse," BrewDog's Courtney Baldetti tells Axios.
