🩻 Meanwhile, about 130 technicians and associates at GE HealthCare's Aurora facility have been negotiating their first contract since voting to unionize in January 2025.

• In letters this month to Republican Sens. Bernie Moreno and Jon Husted and Rep. Dave Joyce (R-Russell Township), the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) accused GE HealthCare of "egregious unlawful conduct" during negotiations.

What they're saying: The union says GE has resisted regular bargaining and only recently offered economic proposals that would lower wages, cut paid time off and increase health care costs.

Zoom out: IAM has filed two unfair labor practice charges with the National Labor Relations Board alleging GE failed to bargain in good faith.

The other side: A GE spokesperson tells Axios that they have been bargaining in good faith toward an agreement "that provides competitive wages and meaningful benefits, while also supporting the long-term health of the business and our ability to serve patients and customers."
