"The Land" Hulu series filming in downtown Cleveland

"The Land," an upcoming Hulu TV series, has arrived in downtown Cleveland.

Driving the news: The city announced road closures on and around East 9th Street, Euclid Avenue and Superior Avenue from Sunday into Monday morning.

The reason? Filming of the sports drama, per Cleveland.com, which centers around a fictional version of the Browns.

State of play: "The Land" stars Christopher Meloni ("Law & Order: Organized Crime") as the team's head coach, and William H. Macy ("Fargo") as the owner.

Meloni filmed scenes at the Browns' training facility last fall.

Filming also took place during this past weekend's NFL draft in Pittsburgh, including the fictional Browns selecting a quarterback with the first pick.
