It's back to the real world for the contestants on Season 10 of "Love Is Blind" — and by "real world," we mean Ohio.
State of play: The first week's episodes of Netflix's popular reality series saw seven couples get engaged sight unseen and then go on vacation together.
- This week, the couples moved in together at an apartment complex in Columbus.
Warning: Potential spoilers ahead.
Zoom in: We almost lost one of our Northeast Ohio contestants when Medina's Devonta Anderson and his fiancée, Brittany, nearly split over the former's lack of affection.
- Cleveland salesman Mike Gibney and his family struggle with his fiancée Emma's uncertainty about having kids.
- Ashtabula claims manager Ashley Carpenter introduces her partner Alex to her lawyer father, who questions Alex's honesty.
What's next: The next two episodes debut Feb. 25 as the couples get closer to walking down the aisle.
👋🏻 Troy and Axios Columbus' Alissa Widman Neese are back to go over this week's episodes.
What were your most memorable Ohio moments?
Troy: I liked the early shot of hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey standing near the Ohio Statehouse welcoming viewers to Nick's home state (he grew up in Cincinnati).
Alissa: I did the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme when I saw our Pins prediction play out. The popular Columbus spot unfortunately played host to a very awkward cast party.
What was the cringiest moment?
Troy: Everything involving Alex, from getting mad at Ashley for moving his water bottles to being terrified of her being on her period.
Alissa: Chris. He's a walking red flag at this point and Reddit is rightly roasting him.
Which couple are you rooting for the most?
Troy: Victor and Christine are clearly the healthiest couple, almost to the point of boredom.
- Still, they're the only couple that I trust is truly in this for the right reasons.
Alissa: 100% agree. They're Ohio's only hope.
What are you most looking forward to with the next batch of episodes?
Troy: Hopefully these Ohio guys get it together. I've already mentioned Alex and Devonta's issues.
- Yet no one comes off worse than Chris, who body-shames and dumps Jessica before visiting a strip club and sliding into Bri's DMs.
Alissa: Amber said it best: "He's too short to be this cocky."
- Speaking of Amber, she and Jordan keep growing on me — they're so fun and authentic! — but I'm concerned they won't make it past the altar because they're at different stages of life.
- These next two episodes will make or break them.
Editor's note: This story has been corrected to note two episodes (not three) will debut Feb. 25.
