Bob Weir's long, strange trip through Northeast Ohio

By the numbers: Weir performed here more than 40 times with multiple bands, including RatDog, the Other Ones and Dead & Company.

• He played concerts at Richfield Coliseum, Blossom Music Center, Allen Theatre and the Agora, among other venues, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 with the Grateful Dead.

Flashback: The Grateful Dead's first performance in Northeast Ohio was a sold-out show at Cleveland Music Hall on Oct. 17, 1970.

• Weir's final appearance in the area was with Dead & Company at the Blossom Music Center on Sept. 7, 2021.
