Pickle in the Land kicks off today at the Huntington Convention Center.
Why it matters: It's the third iteration of an event that organizers have dubbed "the Midwest's premier pickleball tournament."
Play has expanded to four days this year and will include a first-ever Club Cup.
The big picture: The free-to-watch event draws athletes from 20+ states and doubles as a holiday community drive benefiting patients at Akron Children's Hospital.
Stop by: Check out the revamped Vendor Village and autograph sessions with Cavs legends Austin Carr and Campy Russell on Dec. 13-14 from noon-2pm.
