The update to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's inductee exhibition debuts Friday, featuring iconic artifacts from the diverse 2025 inductee class.
Why it matters: The reveal marks the start of induction season, with the annual ceremony taking place Nov. 8 at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater.
Catch up quick: This year's inductees include Outkast, The White Stripes, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, Bad Company, Chubby Checker and Joe Cocker.
- Salt-N-Pepa and late singer-songwriter Warren Zevon are among this year's side category honorees.
The intrigue: Highlighting this year's exhibition are the clothes, which include André 3000's suit from Outkast's "Hey Ya!" video and the outfits worn by The White Stripes on the "Icky Thump" album cover.
- Lauper's hat from the "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" video is also on display, along with Salt-N-Pepa's 1980s "Push It" ensemble.
Between the lines: Bad Company is also well represented with instruments and clothes from each member.
- The same goes for Soundgarden, whose section includes a backdrop from a 1986 show and the guitars of Chris Cornell and Kim Thayil.
