Shedeur Sanders is officially a Cleveland Brown.
The intrigue: On Monday, the Browns signed the fifth-round quarterback to a four-year, $4.6 million contract with a $447,380 signing bonus, per the Athletic.
The contract represents a pay cut for Sanders, who made $5.1 million in NIL deals during his final season at the University of Colorado.
Flashback: Sanders falling from potential top-five pick to the fifth round was the story of last month's NFL Draft.
The Browns selected him No. 144 overall after taking Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel in the third round.
What's next: Sanders will compete with Gabriel, Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco for the Browns' starting job with Deshaun Watson likely to miss the entire season after suffering a ruptured Achilles.
