The next few days may set a record for Irish beer poured in Northeast Ohio.
Why it matters: St. Patrick's Day falls on Monday, making this one of the biggest party weekends of 2025 for an area loaded with Irish ancestry.
Here are just some of the many local festivities:
This weekend
☘️ Lucky's Bar Crawl downtown kicks off at 4pm Saturday at Corner Alley on East Fourth Street before moving to venues like Harry Buffalo, Geraci's Slice Shop and more.
- Tickets start at $20.
🟢 Green Mile Bar Crawl in Lakewood starts at noon Saturday at Lakewood Truck Park and travels to Wine Dive Bar, Mercury Lounge, Riverwood Café and several other locations.
- Tickets start at $20.
🏃 The St. Patrick's Day 5K begins at 4pm Saturday in the Warehouse District with an after-party at bars on West Sixth Street.
- Registration is $45 and comes with a kilt and Jameson shot.
🥎 Hi 5 sports bar in the Flats has transformed into a St. Paddy's Day-themed bar through Monday with special cocktails, including a shamrock shake and "Magically Delicious" concoction featuring Lucky Charms.
- Hi 5 is also the starting point for Saturday's bar crawl on The Flats East Bank that includes stops at The Farm, Good Night John Boy and elsewhere. Tickets start at $13.
🫚 Great Lakes Brewing has turned its basement into a "party pub" through March 23 with food, drink specials and Conway's Irish Ale and Irish Stout on tap.
🍻 P.J. McIntyre's Irish Pub on Lorain Avenue hosts "St. Practice Day" on Sunday with Irish band Half Craic'd on Sunday night.
Monday
🇮🇪 The annual parade starts at 1:04pm at Superior Avenue and East 18th Street before traveling southwest down Superior to West Roadway and Rockwell Avenue.
🍀 The Harp Irish Pub and Restaurant in Ohio City opens at 8am with a special limited menu and music by The Kilroys under a heated tent from 3–5pm.
- The Boys from County Hell go on stage at 7pm, when a cover charge of $10 goes into effect.
🍳 The Flat Iron Café, Cleveland's oldest Irish bar, opens at 7am for "kegs & eggs" and Donal O'Shaughnessy performing at 11am.
- The venue has shuttle service from the parade.
🎵 Gormley's Pub will have several days of live music in the lead-up to a 7am opening with corned beef sandwiches, bagpipes and dancers.
🍺 Sully's Irish Pub in Medina opens at 8am and will feature live music from Loch Erie from 10am–9pm.
🎶 Stone Mad Pub on West 65th Street opens at 9:30am with a beer truck, a "cornucopia" of corned beef and live music.
