👀 It looks like Great Lakes Brewing Company is moving forward with plans on the Scranton Peninsula.
Driving the news: NEOtrans reported this weekend that Great Lakes submitted an application to Cleveland's Department of Building and Housing outlining $600,000 in planned site improvement expenditures.
What they're saying: "While the plans don't come right out and say that GLBC will build a new production facility and hospitality-related offerings to the public, they come pretty close," NEOtrans writes.
Zoom in: The plans concern nearly two acres of riverfront property on Carter Road.
Site improvements there would include things like demolition, grading, and installation of utility lines.
State of play: Great Lakes has been exploring options for consolidation and expansion, and briefly considered building a new production facility in suburban Avon.
Those plans were scrapped after the resignation of former CEO Mark King last year.
