Women's coworking and wellness club to open on Providence Road

What to expect: The membership-based social wellness hub has signed a lease for the 5,234-square-foot Crescent Corner building at 507 Providence Road between Myers Park and Eastover.

What they're saying: "As remote work rises and loneliness increases, we believe women need more than flexible desks — they need belonging, support and infrastructure that matches their ambition," owner Margaret Cheatham Williams said.

The big picture: Moxie joins a growing wave of spaces that combine fitness, wellness and community, like The Health Club, the Club, and Drench (coming soon), alongside a surge in bathhouses and cold plunge studios.

• Fitness and community are merging, often into social wellness hubs rather than single-purpose spaces.

What's next: Interior renovations are underway, with an opening planned for early 2027.
