Haraz, the wildly popular Yemeni coffee shop in Plaza Midwood, quietly opened its second Charlotte-area location over the weekend in Lower South End.
Why it matters: The new location is the first of the national brand's local expansion, with additional cafes slated to open in Concord and University City this summer.
What to expect: The LoSo Haraz, inside South Blvd. apartment complex South and Hollis, is more than twice the size of the original Central Avenue shop at 3,100 square feet.
Best bites: We tried the Iced Harazi Coffee, an Iced Pistachio Latte, and a Dubai Brioche Supreme — a brioche roll stuffed with dubai chocolate.
