Sycamore's new family-friendly Cotswold venue will have huge beer garden

What to expect: The new building, which has yet to break ground, will feature 7,000 square feet of indoor space and a massive 11,000-square-foot beer garden.

• To put it into perspective, the South End location is only slightly bigger at 21,000 square feet across two floors.

The vibe: Expect live music, a bigger food menu, including a kids menu and weekend brunch, craft cocktails, and beer, of course.

• They'll have table service as opposed to the pickup counter at the South End location.
• The beer garden will have games, TVs and a play area for kids.

Between the lines: Sycamore won't brew beer at its new location. It actually produces most of its beer at a location in north Charlotte.

Zoom out: Charlotte is home to 40+ breweries, none of which are in the Cotswold neighborhood. The closest one is Vaulted Oak Brewing on Monroe Road.

What's next: The grand opening is slated for summer 2026.
