Less than an inch of snow and sleet is expected in the Charlotte metro area today and tomorrow, according to WBTV meteorologists.
"The majority of the precipitation will fall from mid-morning Wednesday to the afternoon hours, but another band of snow is possible by the Thursday morning commute," says WBTV chief meteorologist Al Conklin.
Why it matters: The snow could create hazardous driving conditions on untreated roads.
The latest: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will have a remote learning day on Wednesday because of the weather.
