Lottie's cafe opens at Queen City Quarter in Uptown

Lottie's is the latest tenant to open at Queen City Quarter in Uptown.
Why it matters: Queen City Quarter is starting to make a comeback now that more businesses are opening in what was formerly the EpiCentre.
Catch up quick: Lottie's, which is in its soft opening phase until June 15, is the second new business to open in the former EpiCentre.
- Southern comfort food restaurant Kitchen & Kocktails opened June 1.
- A seafood restaurant across from the cafe called Sea Grill is expected to open this summer.
- Lip Print, a Raleigh-based custom makeup company, is opening soon next door to Lottie's.
What to expect: Its menu includes several coffee options, pastries from Beyond Amazing Donuts, breakfast bowls, sandwiches and flatbreads.
- By the end of June, they'll offer an extended drink menu with cocktails, beer and wine.
- It'll also have a small retail space offering apparel and home decor — a nod to Lottie's owners' previous business, Nostalgia Hollow Co. in Kannapolis.
Stop by: Lottie's is located at 210 East Trade St., next to Kitchen & Kocktails.
- It's open daily from 7am-4pm to start. Eventually, it'll stay open until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
