25 New Year’s Eve events in Charlotte to ring in 2024

The countdown to 2024 is officially on. And there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Charlotte.

From chef-curated dinners to themed parties that go all night long, there are dozens of ways to ring in the new year.

Of note: All events will take place on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, unless otherwise noted.

  • These events are selling out quickly. Plan accordingly.

Six-Course NYE Dinner at Supperland

What to expect: A six-course tasting menu crafted by executive chef Chris Rogienski, with the option to add wine pairings.

NYE 2024 Celebration at SupperClub South End

What to expect: SupperClub’s NYE celebration will kick off with two prix fixe dinner seatings, followed by a party beginning at 9pm.

  • Time: 6pm (seating one); 8:30pm (seating two)
  • Cost: $75 (6pm dinner); $90 (8:30pm dinner); $95 (party package)

New Year’s Eve Bash at Resident Culture South End

What to expect: An all-inclusive evening with full bars on both levels, a photo booth and NYE swag.

New Year’s Day Brunch at Sixty Vines

What to expect: A wine country-inspired brunch with 60 wines on tap.

NYE Party at Angry Ales

What to expect: A no-cover celebration in a sports bar atmosphere with a DJ and midnight champagne toast. Angry Ale’s will operate on normal hours for NYE (10am-2am).

NYE Dinner at Mimosa Grill

What to expect: A curated NYE menu of New American fare, like garlic and herb focaccia, cocoa braised short rib and fried Brussels sprouts, plus desserts. Tables can be reserved through Resy.

Réveillon NYE French Dinner at Coquette

What to expect: A four-course prix fixe menu of French cuisine with optional wine pairings for each course and two seatings.

  • Time: 6pm (seating one); 8:30pm (seating two)
  • Cost: $135

New Year’s Eve Bash at Goldie’s

What to expect: Festive cocktails, late-night bites (10pm-midnight) and live band performances all night long.

NYE All White Party at Muraya

What to expect: An all-white dinner party that’ll start at 9pm and feature three courses. It’ll go on until 2am with live music, a carnival show, a champagne toast and the 12 lucky grape tradition typical in Hispanic cultures.

What to expect: A full bar and condensed dinner menu with specials including fresh fettuccine and a split bone ribeye for two.

All That Glitters NYE Party at Merchant and Trade

What to expect: A rooftop celebration with a midnight balloon drop that’ll feature live DJ sets and a NYE menu.

  • Time: 7pm
  • Cost: Non-ticketed; skip-the-line passes and couch reservations are available for purchase.

NYE Midnight Soiree  at Ink N Ivy

What to expect: An all-inclusive, multi-floor party with beer, wine and cocktails (including a martini and champagne bar), plus late-night snacks.

The 5th Annual Hoppin’ New Year’s Eve at Hoppin’

What to expect: Your ticket includes $1 beer and wine, half off liquor, appetizers from Cutting Board (9pm until they’re gone), late-night pizza, a DJ, party favors, a photo booth and a champagne toast.

New Year’s Eve Trail Race at the Whitewater Center

What to expect: A race through the woods to start 2024 on the right foot. Participants can choose between two races: a 5K or five-mile run that will overlap with the year’s end and the beginning of the new year.

Disco Desert NYE Celebration at The Music Yard

What to expect: Three stages with a mix of performances from bands and DJs. There’s champagne, tables and a complimentary dinner buffet for VIPs.

  • Time: 7pm-2am
  • Cost: $45 (general admission) – $1,500 (VIP table with 16 tickets)

New Year’s Punchin’ Eve 2023 at Suffolk Punch

What to expect: Multiple open bars, a DJ, a photo booth, sparklers and glow sticks, eats from Katsu Kart, and two drink packages to choose from. Plus, Norfolk Hall (Suffolk’s event space) will turn into a massive dance floor.

Of note: Beginning at 5pm, Suffolk Punch SouthPark will host a NYE beer dinner for $85 per person. Get tickets.

New Year’s Eve at South End Station

What to expect: An upscale NYE celebration best suited for large groups. All tickets come in packages with food and bottle service included. 

CLT NYE in Uptown

What to expect: A family-friendly NYE event with live music, a Queen City crown lighting and a huge firework display starting at midnight.

  • Time: 8pm
  • Cost: Free
  • Location: Tryon Street at Levine Avenue of the Arts

What to expect: An all-inclusive ticket with beer, wine, liquor, champagne and light bites from 10-11pm.⁠

  • Time: 9pm-2am
  • Cost: $125 for general admission; $1,000 for a table of six
  • Location: 226 Fairwood Ave.

What to expect: A top-shelf open bar and buffet until 2am, a live DJ, a countdown of the ball drop, a champagne toast at midnight and festive party favors.

What to expect: This all-inclusive event features light hors d’oeuvres, party favors, beer, wine, liquor, champagne, multiple DJs and a balloon drop.

  • Time: 8pm early entry; 9pm general admission
  • Cost: $85 (general admission) – $140 (VIP table service)
  • Location: 1933 South Blvd.

NYE Dinner and Celebration at Lincoln Street Kitchen & Cocktails

What to expect: An intimate, 4-course dinner with two seating options.

  • Time: Early seating 6-8pm; second seating 8:30-10:30pm
  • Cost: $130 (seating 1) to $155 (seating 2)
  • Location: 1320 S. Church St.

What to expect: A NYE party you’ll need your dancing shoes for. Your ticket includes party favors, hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast.

What to expect: NoDa’s Haberdish is celebrating NYE with fried chicken and caviar, along with a variety of side dishes and champagne.

  • Time: Varies; reservations and walk-ins accepted
  • Cost: $3 per person to reserve
  • Location: 3106 N Davidson St.
