The South End businesses that call the corner of Park and Camden home have known for months that they’ll need to evacuate.
This is the intersection best known for the former Common Market South End. The land will be razed to make way for the new headquarters of Dimensional Fund Advisors. Blush Boutique moved out last year, and Common Market closed at the end of last month.
Now we know another one has landed on its feet. Black Sheep skate shop has found a new home in Plaza Midwood.
The men’s apparel, shoe and skateboard shop had spent 13 years in South End. They’ve just announced that they’ve found a new, larger location in another close-in neighborhood.
They’ll be moving into a space at Central Crossing.
Right at Central and Lamar, this is best known for Moo & Brew, the restaurant in the former Joe Hooper’s spot, and Fu Man Chu cupcakes.
