Moo & Brew, a new burger and beer spot in Plaza Midwood, has replaced Joe Hooper’s.
It’s owned by Ken Thomas and Zach Current and it’s their goal to be known for burgers and beers. You’re familiar with their other work – Thomas runs the Music Factory and Current used to run Fuel Pizza.
It opens next Wednesday and from what we’ve seen, the burger concepts look incredible.
And so does the #LargeMarge, their answer to a Bloody Mary.
It’ll run you $18.
I got my hands on the menus. Cocktails will run you $7-9 while most menu items hover around the $10 mark.
Learn more about the UNC-themed bar, set to open next week, here. While you wait, take a look at the place:
Check out the (gorgeous) copper-topped bar:
There will be 40 taps. 36 will be beers (local vendors include Sycamore, Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Birdsong and Triple C) and the other four will be prosecco, chardonnay, Midwood Mule and root beer – just normal root beer.
