A new sushi restaurant is coming to South End, 20 yards from Sycamore

This building was recently renovated for adaptive reuse to office and restaurants by Argos.

Hata’s Sushi comes to us from the same folks behind Ru San’s on Park Road.

Exciting news for Hawkins Street as this area continues to undergo massive growth.

The area is becoming its own contained entertainment district. Sycamore is obviously a destination in of itself, but add a restaurant (sushi, no less) to that and it sets the area on a great trajectory.

I hope this trend continues and we start to see more bars and restaurants moving into the old and cool buildings of the area. No timeline for opening set yet, but plan review has begun.
