Hello Thursday.
I found myself inside Anne Neilson Fine Art in South End yesterday. My hottie wife purchased my mom an artsy book called Angels in our Midst by Anne Neilson for Christmas. It was a hit with my mother and now I’m the favorite child. To secure my favorite child position, I purchased a set of 24 angel notecards for my mom for her birthday on Friday. Boom (although it set me back $45). Rarely am I in an art gallery where I want everything on the walls. I did yesterday. Anne and I have the exact same taste – not sure that’s a good thing for Anne. Anyways.

Dinner Lab: My kind of experiment
Startup with a simple formula: chef + space + people. Chefs experiment with dishes and diners grade them. Intimate setting. Clay gives you the scoop on membership fees and how it works. I loved this so much that I did some internet research and found that this startup has raised $3.1 million to bring dining experiences to cities.
The Great Wall of Charlotte
Our first “longform.” I don’t read good, so this story took me 19 minutes to read. It’s a beautiful story from Dion on dating, our city, and people. Curious on your reaction.
