Drink Coffee Be Cool
Charlotte’s coffee scene is exploding so I wanted to take a look and what the people behind the counters are drinking. Spoiler alert: nothin’ fancy.
I also wanted to know what they think is their biggest seller and it came as no surprise that we the consumers drink the froo-froo stuff while they, our beloved baristas, are sipping the real deal.
Said Diana at Daily Press, “American coffee drinking habits lean towards what’s familiar and what’s familiar are lattes. Part of that has to do with the fact that a lot of espresso just isn’t good so it has to be cut with something and that something is milk.”
