Between the lines: Poppi has popped off in recent years, using online influencers to garner buzz.

• It's the company's third consecutive Super Bowl commercial, but the first time the brand has used bigger talent like Charli XCX.
• Poppi was acquired by Pepsico for $1.95 billion last year.

What they're saying: "This was a very intentional return for us," Kristina MacIntosh, Poppi's senior vice president of marketing, said in a statement.
