President Trump launched an hours-long Truth Social posting spree late Monday night as he lashed out at political rivals and boosted supporters' messages about his accomplishments.
By the numbers: Trump made 158 posts from 9pm Monday to 12am Tuesday, per an Axios analysis, a rate of nearly one post per minute.
- He resumed his more usual cadence of posting on Tuesday morning.
- The White House did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment.
What he's saying: The posts started with criticism of political opponents including former Attorney General Eric Holder and Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.).
- He also posted about President Biden's autopen use, including a screenshot of an Alex Jones post on X baselessly accusing former First Lady Michelle Obama of using Biden's autopen in the final days of his administration.
- In more typical posts, Trump encouraged supporters to turn out for Tuesday's special election in Tennessee's 7th congressional district, which has become an unlikely battleground.
Many posts were videos from Instagram or TikTok about his policies. Some reposted news about his priorities, mostly from conservative news outlets.
- Several concerned Minnesota's Somali community and baselessly questioned the legitimacy of Rep. Ilhan Omar's (D-Minn.) citizenship. He shared a conspiracy theory that Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) planned the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
- One video, posted at least three times, celebrated first lady Melania Trump.
- Another post, which included a clip of Trump's cameo in "Home Alone 2," said "Christmas is officially GREAT again."
The bottom line: "Donald Trump is not a Democrat, he's not even a republican, he's a movement!," one Trump repost at 11:33pm said. "The greatest president to ever live."
- Just before 6am, the president posted: "TRUTH SOCIAL IS THE BEST! There is nothing even close!!!"
