Pope Francis' popemobile to serve as health clinic for Gaza children

• The pope, who died on Easter Monday at age 88, criticized the Israeli military actions in the Palestinian enclave and called for an investigation into whether these legally constituted genocide. He spoke regularly with Gaza's parish priest.

What they're saying: "This is a concrete, life-saving intervention at a time when the health system in Gaza has almost completely collapsed," said Peter Brune, secretary general of Caritas Sweden, the advocacy nonprofit that's overseeing the popemobile conversion, in a statement.

• "It's a message that the world has not forgotten about the children in Gaza. And it is also an invitation: that the rest of the world remember, too."
