Best Picture nominees
"A Complete Unknown" on digital and in theaters
- The Bob Dylan biopic, starring Timothée Chalamet, is up for eight awards, including costume design, directing and actor in a leading role.

"Conclave" on Peacock
- This political thriller is nominated in eight categories. It was up for six Golden Globes, but only took home one for best screenplay-motion picture.
"The Substance" on Mubi
- Demi Moore received her first Oscar nod for playing the lead role, and Coralie Fargeat's nomination is the 10th directing nomination for a woman.
"Emilia Pérez" on Netflix
- With 13 nominations, this operatic musical set the record for the most by a non-English film.
"Wicked" on digital
- Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are contenders to take home the golden statuette for actress in a leading role and actress in a supporting role, respectively.
- Cost: $19.99 to buy. The film streams on Peacock starting March 21.
"The Brutalist" on digital and in theaters
- Adrien Brody is in line to win his second Academy Award for actor in a leading role for his portrayal of a Hungarian architect.

"Dune: Part Two" on Max and Netflix
- The other best picture candidate starring Timothée Chalamet is also nominated for visual effects, sound, cinematography and production design.
"Nickel Boys" on digital and in theaters
- This film, based on Colson Whitehead's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, is also nominated for writing (adapted screenplay).
- Cost: $19.99 to buy.
"I'm Still Here" in theaters
- This drama set in 1970s Brazil is also nominated for actress in a leading role and international feature film.
"Anora" on digital and in theaters
- In the running for six Academy Awards, this film tells the story of a Brooklyn sex worker whose life is shaken up after she impulsively marries the son of a Russian billionaire.
- Cost: $5.99 to rent. This film will stream on Hulu beginning March 17.
Best Documentary Feature nominees
"Black Box Diaries" on Paramount+ with Showtime
- Producer Eric Nyari is the first person since 1994 to be nominated for both documentary feature film ("Black Box Diaries") and documentary short film ("Instruments of a Beating Heart") in the same year.
"No Other Land" in theaters
- No American studio has agreed to distribute this acclaimed documentary about a pair of journalists at the center of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
"Porcelain War" in theaters
- This Sundance Award winner captures the journey of three Ukrainian artists who chose to stay in their homeland during Russia's invasion.
"Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat" on digital
- This Cold War thriller tells the story of how the U.S. sent jazz ambassador Louis Armstrong to the Congo to deflect attention from its involvement in the assassination of the African country's leader, Patrice Lumumba.
- Cost: $3.99 to rent.
"Sugarcane" on Disney+ and Hulu
- An investigation into abuse and death at a boarding school for Native American children run by the Catholic Church in Canada is at the center of this documentary.
Best Animated Feature nominees
"Flow" on Max
- "Flow" beat out "The Wild Robot," "Inside Out 2" and "Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl" to win best motion picture (animated) at the Golden Globes.
"The Wild Robot" on Peacock
- This is the fourth time director Chris Sanders has been up for an award in this category. His previous nominations were for "Lilo & Stitch," "How to Train Your Dragon" and "The Croods."
"Inside Out 2" on Disney+
- This film's predecessor, "Inside Out," won the Academy Award in this category in 2016.
"Memoir of a Snail" on AMC+
- Director Adam Elliot previously won an Oscar for the animated short film "Harvie Krumpet."
"Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl" on Netflix
- "Wallace & Gromit" creator Nick Park won this award in 2006 for "The Curse of the Were-Rabbit."
