Trump tightens gap with Harris in three new national polls

• An ABC/Ipsos poll of likely voters found Harris up 50% to Trump's 48%, down from a six-point lead for Harris last month.
• A CBS/YouGov poll of likely voters showed Harris up 51% to 48%, down from a four-point lead in September.
• An NBC poll of registered voters found a dead heat, 48% to 48% — a major slide from 49% to 44% in Harris' favor last month.

Reality check: National polls may depict an image of the state of the race, but they don't show who will win the electoral college.

• In polling released yesterday, Harris received encouraging news in Pennsylvania, arguably the most pivotal state for either candidate, but a was dealt a blow in Arizona.
• A New York Times/Philadelphia Inquirer/Siena College survey of likely voters showed Harris leading Trump 50% to 47% in the Keystone State,

• But in Arizona she trailed the former president 51% to 46%.

The bottom line: As Election Day nears, the showdown between Harris and Trump is settling back into an extremely tight race that could come down to whether the vice president can maintain her grasp on the Blue Wall.
