Trump has a "desire to be a dictator," Harris says on Howard Stern show

The latest: Stern asked Harris about Woodward's allegation in his forthcoming book "War" that Trump shared scarcely available COVID tests with Putin during the early days of the pandemic.

• Woodward's reporting is "just the most recent, stark example of who Donald Trump is," Harris said on Tuesday.
• "People were dying by the hundreds," she said. "Everybody was scrambling to get these kits, the COVID test kits. Couldn't get them, couldn't get them anywhere."
• "And this guy who was president of the United States is sending them to Russia, to a murderous dictator, for his personal use."

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said the book's claims were unfounded in a statement to Axios.
