Arizona "fake elector" takes plea deal

• She'll receive three years of probation and no jail time under the deal.
• The attorney general's office wouldn't comment on whether Pellegrino will be required to testify or cooperate with the prosecution, saying the court has sealed the plea agreement.

• Former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis signed an agreement Monday in which she agreed to cooperate with the attorney general's office in exchange for her charges being dropped.

• Attorney General Kris Mayes, a Democrat, called the agreement "a significant step forward."

What they're saying: "Loraine Pellegrino's decision to accept a plea to a lesser charge reflects her desire to move forward and put this matter behind her. … She has taken full responsibility for her actions, demonstrating her commitment to upholding the law and contributing positively to the community," Pellegrino's attorney Joshua Kolsrud told Politico.
