• He has a "very wide expertise which makes him flexible to see a variety of patients and problems," O'Connor added.

Zoom in: O'Connor said the letter was being made public following "permission from the President and Dr. Cannard to confirm the details I am sharing" and that no signs of Parkinson's disease were found during Biden's three examinations tied to his physical.

• He noted that Cannard "has held regular Neurology Clinics at the White House Medical Clinic in support of the thousands of active-duty members assigned in support of White House operation."

The big picture: Concerns about Biden's neurological health increased in the wake of the June 27 presidential debate that prompted some Democrats to call for him to end his 2024 candidacy, but which he and aides blamed on a cold and jet lag.
