Shot: A senior administration official told reporters today that President Trump will likely tell Congress tomorrow that does not object to releasing the Nunes memo. The official also said he "doubts" there will be any redactions. "It’s in Congress’ hands after that," he said.

Chaser: Inside the Trump administration, sources who've been briefed on the Nunes memo expect it will be underwhelming and not the “slam dunk” document it's been hyped up to be, Axios' Jonathan Swan reports.

Tech giants delivered strong Q4 earnings reports, but had a few misses, Axios tech editor Kim Hart notes.

• Apple reported record quarterly revenue and per-share earnings thanks to the iPhone X, but disappointed on its outlook.
• Amazon beat estimates for the fourth quarter, which was the first where the company drew a profit of more than $1 billion.
• Google missed estimates on earnings per share and revenue, but said mobile and desktop search continues to grow. It also announced John Hennessy is its new board chairman, replacing Eric Schmidt.
