❌ A federal judge on Friday temporarily blocked the Trump administration's purging of USAID. The suit alleges the administration putting some 2,200 employees on leave will cause a humanitarian catastrophe, cost thousands of Americans jobs and overstep presidential powers. (Axios)
🪧 The Trump administration issued a stop work order for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau over the weekend and shuttered its D.C. headquarters. The agency was created to protect consumers after the 2008 financial crisis. A protest rally is planned outside the building today with Senator Elizabeth Warren and others at 4:15pm. (WTOP)
