These politicians have written their own fiction books

• The writing partnership has already produced two bestselling novels. Their first, "The President is Missing," sold 3.8 million copies. That was followed by "The President's Daughter" in 2021.

Hillary Clinton

The former Secretary of State partnered with writer Louise Penny on "State of Terror," a thriller that follows a fictitious Secretary of State as she faces off against an intricate series of international threats involving nuclear weapons and terrorists.

Stacey Abrams

Abrams, a former Georgia gubernatorial candidate and state rep, has written a slew of romance novels under the pen name Selena Montgomery, as well as a thriller series featuring a Supreme Court law clerk named Avery Keene as she uncovers political secrets in Washington.

Jimmy Carter

The former president's deeply researched historical fiction novel, "The Hornet's Nest," follows a couple living in the deep South during the Revolutionary War.
