Meteorologist and gardening sage Belinda Jensen, a fixture of Twin Cities TV sets for nearly 33 years, is (mostly) retiring on May 2.
Why it matters: It's Bel! She's one of the most recognizable faces in local TV history.
Of note: Jensen will still occasionally contribute to KARE 11's Saturday show, starting this fall, her station wrote.
Flashback: Jensen joined KARE 11 full-time in September 1993.
Jensen is retiring a few days after another longtime Twin Cities meteorologist, Paul Huttner of Minnesota Public Radio, rides off into the sunset.
