Next Tuesday marks the beginning of the Lunar New Year, and if you want to get a head start celebrating the Year of the Fire Horse, we know where to go.
What's happening: Asia Mall, the cultural hub in Eden Prairie, will be celebrating Sunday and Monday with traditional music, lion dances, family activities and plenty of Asian cuisine.
- Moona Moono in Minneapolis will host a family-friendly community event with origami, red envelopes and food from The Mandarin Man and Saturday Dumpling Club.
Plus: On Tuesday, the Minneapolis Institute of Art will debut "Year of the Horse: Hoofbeats through Time," a free exhibit that explores the animal's symbolism in Chinese art and culture.
