We tried Ann Kim's frozen pizza from Target

👋 Kyle here. This month, Target launched a frozen foods collab with Young Joni/Pizzeria Lola chef Ann Kim, so I decided to give two of her pizzas a try.

💭 My thought bubble: You're not really getting Young Joni at home, but Kim's frozen wood-fire crust is a flavorful upgrade over typical freezer fare.

Zoom in: The frozen version of Kim's pickle pie was a clear winner. The potato chips actually keep their crunch and the mozzarella cheese is creamy.

• The pepperoni pizza with jalapeños and hot honey was nice, but was nothing exceptional.

The other side: One Reddit review complains Target's manufacturer skimped on the toppings.

Yes, but: Even if it was conceived of by a Netflix-famous chef — it's a frozen pizza. What were you expecting?
