Temperatures are plunging again, making this the perfect time to visit a new-to-you exhibit at your local museum.
Driving the news: The Minnesota Historical Society is offering free admission this Saturday to five local museums and landmarks, including the James J. Hill House, the History Center and Mill City Museum.
- Check out the nation's largest collection of nesting dolls at The Museum of Russian Art's exhibit through mid-March ($14 admission) or immerse yourself in Mia's permanent Tibetan Buddhist Shrine Room (free).
π Audrey's pick: Walker Art Center's Sophie Calle exhibit, which closes in a few weeks, is a personal favorite β the French conceptual artist's voyeuristic work is a fascinating look at the blur between public and private life. ($18 admission)
